As part of his visit to the United Nations, Argentina's Foreign Minister, Pablo Quirno, met in May 2026 with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Petr Macinka.
During their meeting, both officials agreed that bilateral relations are at an excellent point following President Petr Pavel's visit to Argentina, during which an Agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent fiscal evasion was signed.
Argentina has tremendous potential to deepen cooperation in investment, technology, defense, and energy with a key partner in the European Union.
