On June 24, 2024, the President of the Argentine Republic, Javier Milei, visited the Czech Republic, becoming the first Argentine head of state to visit this country. It is also worth noting that this presidential visit took place in the year marking the centenary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Argentina and the Czech Republic.

During his visit to Prague, the President held meetings with the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, and with the Prime Minister, Petr Fiala. He also received the 2024 Annual Award from the Liberal Institute.
